After different bouts with cold and flu in my household 🤒 🤧 , here’s a quick long-forgotten post on the finished vest.
- Yarn is Fleece Jacob DK in Brown Black (more dark chocolatey brown than black, I think) , Grey and Ecru, while the teal is Bluefaced Leceister DK; all by West Yorkshire Spinners. Jacob yarn is the most elastic I’ve ever worked with and I simply love it.
- Pattern is by Kate Davies Design; straightforward, with several rounds with repeats that are easy to remember.
I didn’t make any modification except to lengthen it.
I tried a tubular cast off in twisted rib and it worked fine (after 4 set-up rows). I used Suzanne Brian’s YouTube tutorial for that.
I plan to knit the round neck version for myself sometime in the near future, and I’m thinking of a cardigan instead of a vest since it’d have more use.
Till next time, keep well and happy 🧶 🧵 .
